i am so tired of school!!! i am so sleepy. i'm thisclose to an associate of science. and i just want to sleep all the time! i took my last lab practicum of the anatomy and physiology series and i did pretty good (for me, at least)! so now i have to worry about the stupid math final on tuesday. i really hate math. really really hate it. i have so much respect for engineers and all the math they have to do. because i can pretty much guarantee you that i will never, eeeeever become an engineer. i had my friend (and her boyfriend) in texas help me with math, and it was so easy for them! gd engineers.
i finally started my volunteer shifts on my own for the past 3 weeks..the first week kind of sucked. it was awkward, nobody knew wtf to do with me, it was shitty. the second week, i was able to help feed a patient, bathe a patient, make beds....i live for this shit! a girl i talked to in my a&p class told me she volunteered (and quit) and decided she didn't want to be a nurse. getting to do just the minimum of what a CNA does really makes me excited to get into nursing. some people know they have a calling and i am pretty sure this is mine.
it's almost summer here, but we've been experiencing a lot of june gloom. it is sunny one minute and the next minute it's pouring rain! i love it! this month is pedalpalooza in portland, and they've got events going on every freaking day. next weekend is THE NAKED BIKE RIDE. are you f'ing kidding me?! people are seriously riding bikes naked!!!!!! i thought it was like riding in your skivvies or something, but nope, bitches be naked.
